HOW IT WORKS
The figure below shows how it works for you as a member of the network.
Whenever you have a question, you can either email it directly to me, or if you’re really paranoid, you can use an anonymous survey form.
The question is then sent to the group in the next email that goes out to the network, and responses are requested. We try to keep response time within 2 weeks, although I’ve gotten responses within the same day.
If you don’t have any questions, you can “read and learn” from other executives’ questions and responses. Many MSL executives get new ideas and new questions this way.
We tested different approaches for the MSL Best Practices confidential network and found this to work well:
- A biweekly or monthly email that tells you what questions have been posed
- An executive summary (short list) of responses
- A link to the private online forums with the detailed (complete list) of responses
